One of the first things you observe when you look at a car are the wheels. They can have a huge effect on both the performance of the vehicle and its appearance.
There are two main areas of wheel modifications:
Alloys
Tyres
Brakes
Alloys
There are a wide range of alloys you can purchase which will upgrade your car.
Diamond cut wheels are a very shiny silver and can have paint added to particular areas.
Split rim wheels are made up of two or three parts so you can usually pinpoint them by the number of bolts around the edge.
Tyres
Tyres can have a huge impact on your car handling as they impact on acceleration, braking and cornering. If you experience the wrath of winter conditions in the area you live in, then it pays to have two sets of tyres; one for summer and one for winter.
Brakes
Brake modifications tend to include larger callipers and vented discs. If you switch your rubber brake lines for a stainless steel set, the strength of the walls alter how your pedals feel when you brake. Bigger callipers mean that you have multiple pistons which distribute across the pads better thus improving the braking and handling of your car. You may also choose to spray your callipers a different colour to match your paintwork.
